You’ll need a multi-tool knife. I chose the Leatherman Crunch. You’ll soon find out that its integrated vice-grip is super useful. Especially considering that the pliers on any other model of knives are hardly usable. Get it on Amazon via the link below:
Keep in mind that European built boats – as well as Yanmar and Volvo engines – are fitted with metric fasteners. You’ll need metric tools. And please do not compromise on their quality. Cheap stainless tools will rust within days at sea. Lastly, tools need to sit firmly within their case. I personally use a Kraftwerk tool box. See it below:
